Ebonyi Local Government Election: Youth Group Rejects Eni Uduma Chima For Second Term, Adopt Engr Kalu

A Youth Group, "CONCERN EDDA YOUTH" have rejected the second bid of the current Afikpo South local government Chairman, Barr. Eni Uduma Chima based on what they termed as crude and violence tendencies that characterised his Government.

In a statement endorsed and made available to Celplusmedia, Reads in full;
"We the Youth of Afikpo south LGA under auspicious Umbrella of concerned Edda Youths  uses this opportunity to appreciate the executive Governor of of Ebonyi state Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi our in-law for the developmental strides recorded across the length and breath of Edda clan.

You kept with fate with us and retained the position of senate in Edda in the hands of a very able and capable reputable world class surveyor but that will be a matter for another day Your excellency because this is the first time Edda youths are having the realistic impact of having a senator in Edda.

We the concerned elder Youths uses this opportunity to express our concern about the decietful, evil and violent ridden style of leadership in Edda LGA.

We are amused on how our council chairman shameless uses award of contracts to the family especially to the respected Rt General and the national vice chairman of PDP as his only campaign point and means of intimidating the locals.

Your excellency, blackmail is not a true representation of an EDDA Man, we therefore apologize for this criminal misdeeds of Eni Udama and we have unanimously adopted Mr Kalu a Youth and a philanthropist cum role model as our candidate for the forth coming LGA election. Kalu is a character that we can work with because he re

presents the great interest of elder people and a tested and trusted means to entrenching peace and unity in EDDA

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state.
