Ebonyi Council Polls: Ohaukwu Council Boss Receives Blessings Of Ezza Council Of Chiefs

Ahead of April 25th Ebonyi council polls, the
 highest decision making body of Ezza Effium, Ezza Council of Chiefs has unanimously adopted Chief, Barr. Clement Omekannaya Odah as their sole candidate of the forthcoming Ohaukwu LG chairmanship election come April 25th 2020.

The body which is made up of Chiefs from Umuezeokohu, Umuezeoka, and Kpakpaji kindred families used traditional kola nuts and blessed the executive chairman of Ohaukwu LGA Chief,  Barr, Clement Omekannaya for his numerous achievements especially the restoration of peace in all nooks and crannies of Ohaukwu LGA and cursed all his enemies and destroyed all their evil plans against them.

In their separate vows,  Chief Nwali Paul who spoke on behalf of Umuezeokohu, Chief Okah Akam on behalf of Umuezeoka and Chief Nwobasi Idika on behalf of Kpakpaji condemned the attitude of some of our brothers from Ngbo whose intention is to deprive Effium zone its political rights and vowed that those whose intentions were to take away what belong to Effium to another zone shall visit deprivation in all their endeavors irrespective of where the person is coming from.

In response, the patron of the body Chief Umoke Simon Oguta reiterated their readiness, steadfastness and commitment to ensure that Barr. Odah is reelected to complete the tenure of Effium zone through proper education of the delegates who were sons and daughters of  Effium. He lamented that since the creation of Ohaukwu LG it was only this time that Effium had the opportunity to occupy the chairmanship of the council through the help our dear father, Chief,  Engr. Dave Nweze Umahi. He finally urged Ngbo zone to allow Effium complete its tenure since they were the one occupying the position since its creation.

With overwhelming joy, Odah enthusiastically appreciated Ezza council of Chiefs for their unalloyed and unflinching support the body has given to him and promised to improve the social welfare of the Chiefs. In the same vein,  Chief Omenka Nichodemus eulogized Ezza Council of Chiefs for their steadfastness and unreserved solidarity the body gives Odah and urged them to keep it up and pledged to reciprocate the gesture when ever it will be their own turn.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. From Dave Uka It was a moment of joy and happiness as the most beautiful girl in Idemili, Queen Chikadibia Blessing Iiotonti, visited some hospitals in Oba to  celebrate her birthday with February new born babies.  The hospitals visited included Sahara Hospital Oba, Divine Favours Hospital Oba, Jesus Is Lord Oba and Oba Maternity. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her. Queen Chikadibia who was warmly received with excitement by the management of the hospitals and mothers of the new born babies said the visit was part of her pet project for the year.
