Ebonyi PDP Primary Election; Odah Thanks Umahi, Supporters, Party Leaders, Others For A Peaceful Conduct

Ohaukwu local government Chairman and the people's Democratic party flag bearer for the April 25th local government Election in the state, Barr. Clement Omekannaya Odah, have appreciated his people, Governor David Umahi, party faithfuls, leaders, stakeholders and delegates of the party for finding Worthy of flying the party's flag in the forth coming local government Election in the state.
This was contained in the press release made available to news men after the Saturday primary Election in the state.
His statement reads in full:
"I, Chief Barr clement Omekannaya Odah, Executive Chairman Ohaukwu Local Government Area, with a heart full of gratitude wish to heartily thank God Almighty for the successful completion of all the PDP Primaries in Ohaukwu Local Government Area. On behalf of all the Councillors_elect from the 15 wards of Ohaukwu, I wish to Express our deep gratitude first to the State leader of the Party, then to the National Vice Chairman, The State Party Chairman, all national and zonal officers of the Party and the entire members a of the State Working Committee for providing us with this wonderful opportunity to run for elective positions on the platform of the largest political party in black Africa. We promise not to disappoint you. We want to thank all our leaders and stakeholders for their very valuable support and encouragement. We are immensely grateful to all the Local Government and ward Chairmen, all the delegates and party Executives at all levels including the super and and hoc delegates. You waited patiently for the exercise to commence and you conducted yourselves in a very orderly and peaceful manner while it lasted. We are very Grateful. We assure you that the mandate you voluntarily and cheerfully gave to us will be properly utilized for your benefits and the generality of Ohaukwu people. Thank you our traditional rulers and member of the clergy especially O.P.A and O.J.P.F., town Union presidents and village heads, the market community and women organizations. We are grateful to the security agents, the neighbourhood watch and our infatigable youths who stood firmly in defence of our evolving Democracy. We are very proud of you. We very warmly thank all the contestants at all levels and salute your spirit of sportsmanship. Nobody won or lost. Ohaukwu local Government as a family won. We are all together in the task of building a better Ohaukwu local Government Area which we see can proudly call "The Land of God". We call on everyone to rally together to achieve this lofty dream. Congratulations to all the great people of Ohaukwu Local Government Area and to God be the glory".
