Ebonyi State Governmet Assures Of Adequate Security As Traders Relocates To Margaret Umahi International Market

Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha, the Commissioner for internal security, border peace and conflict resolution Ebonyi State, have assured traders and shops owners at the Ultra-modern Margaret Umahi International Market Abakaliki, that adequate security measures has been put in place in the market.

The Commissioner gave the assurance during an inspection tour of the market this Friday afternoon. He inspected the police post which will be the command and control center of security in the market.

He urge traders to move in confidently as assured that security of the market and their goods is fully guarranted.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. "Our party hails the legislative house strongly for this feat and flexible decision. Expectedly, the legislators should follow action to see that this fund is fully released so as to guarantee free and fair election.
