Every 21st Century Leader In Nigeria Must Think Tech Like Governor Umahi - Nwifuru

The Honourable Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has called on Nigerian leaders on all fronts to embrace technological advancements, like Governor David Nweze Umahi, for the growth of the Nation.
He shared this inspirational sentiment in the wake of the meeting between His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi (fnse, fnate), and the Director of National Automotive Design and Development Council, Jelani Aliyu, MFR, on Wednesday in Abuja.
Ebonyi State under the leadership of Governor Umahi has seen rapid development in various sectors of Government, with the use of advanced technologies playing exciting roles in the growth of the State.
“Citing the trend of technological advancements in this 21st century will be over-labouring the obvious. Technology rules the day now, great companies today are data-driven and we should expect more exciting innovations for better efficiency and effectiveness in our everyday activities.
“In Ebonyi State today, Governor David Umahi has implanted technology in the development of all sectors - Infrastructure, Agriculture, Human Development, and lots more. The results are there for everyone to see. I must say that every 21st century Leader in Nigeria must think tech like Governor Umahi.” - Speaker Nwifuru said.
In a press release by Francis Nwaze, Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Governor Umahi noted that Ebonyi State Government is ready to partner with NADDC in the establishment of an electric-powered vehicle assembling plant in the State. According to the statement, an agreement was reached in that regard, during the meeting of the Governor and the Director of NADDC, Jelani Aliyu, MFR.
Jelani explained that they have started building an Automative Training Centre in Ebonyi state, aimed at training the people to understand the techniques of vehicles and make them become technicians.
Recall that Governor Umahi had ordered the importation of 24 electric tricycles and 24 other to be assembled in Ebonyi State.
