Ebonyi Security Commissioner Harps On Unity Of Purpose As Staff Give Him Surprise Birthday Celebrations

The Hon. Commmissioner, ministry of internal security, border peace and conflict resolution, Ebonyi State, Hon.  Stanley Okoro Emegha, have charged Staff and members of the neighborhood security watch to work with love, harmony and Unity of purpose to sustain the prevailing peace and security in the state.

Emegha handed down the charge during an impromptu birthday celebration organized for him by the inner staff of his office and urban DISCO leaders of neighborhood watch, held in his office, Government House  Abakaliki, this Thursday morning.

The Commmissioner, who was highly elated by the surprise birthday Celebrations, thanked them for concieving such a great idea and  prayed God to honor them for honoring him. " I must confess, I am deeply and highly honored by your action this morning, I have never celebrated my birthday, I take it as just that day someone came to this world, but your actions this morning have changed the whole thing", he said.

He advised the leaders of the neighborhood security watch, urban DISCO leaders to shurn acrimony and work as a team for the state to continue to experience the peace and security. He said that security is a collaborative and collective task that requires the support of all and urged them to redouble their efforts in sustaining the existing peace in the state.

Highlights of the celebration were chanting of birthday song, cutting of birthday cake and prayers for the Commmissioner, the family and ministry.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part.
