Stella Emegha Felicitates With Ebonyi First Woman As She Host Her Southern Colleague

The wife of Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha, Commmissioner for internal security border peace and conflict resolution, Mrs Stella Chinwendu Okoro have felicitated with the wife of the state Governor, Chief Mrs Rachel Ogonna Umahi as she welcome her southern counterparts on their annual quarterly meeting in Ebonyi State.

"I, Mrs. Stella Chinwendu Okoro, wife of the Honourable Commissioner for Internal Security, Border Peace and Conflict Resolution on behalf of my family heartily felicitate with Her Excellency, wife of the Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief (Mrs) Rachel Ogonnaya Umahi, Ogo Nwanyi and Ezinne Adu of Uburu Kingdom on the auspicious occasion of the Quarterly Meeting of the Southern Governors Wives’ Forum (SGWF), scheduled to kick-start on Friday, 24th January, 2020 at Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki.

Your Excellency, the choice of Ebonyi State for this all important meeting is not out of place considering the fact that you are indeed a virtuous woman of substance and a distinguished humanitarian of our generation who has shown unwavering commitment towards repositioning and securing a pride of place for women by inspiring them to be conscious of their potentials and thus develop confidence to face the challenges of self-affirmation through several laudable programmes, initiated by your pet project, ”Family Succour and Upliftment Foundation,” aimed at achieving a sustainable economic empowerment and job creation for women and youths as part of your holistic approach in tackling the problem of poverty.

Your Excellency, the succour giver, I want to use this unique opportunity to congratulate you on your emergence as the National Vice Chairperson of the Forum which unarguably will afford you the opportunity to further display your exceptional leadership ingenuity in galvanising forces and mobilizing your colleagues for the purpose of promoting enduring peace and fostering unity among Nigerians.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. "Our party hails the legislative house strongly for this feat and flexible decision. Expectedly, the legislators should follow action to see that this fund is fully released so as to guarantee free and fair election. From Dave Uka It was a moment of joy and happiness as the most beautiful girl in Idemili, Queen Chikadibia Blessing Iiotonti, visited some hospitals in Oba to  celebrate her birthday with February new born babies.  The hospitals visited included Sahara Hospital Oba, Divine Favours Hospital Oba, Jesus Is Lord Oba and Oba Maternity. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her. Queen Chikadibia who was warmly received with excitement by the management of the hospitals and mothers of the new born babies said the visit was part of her pet project for the year.
