Orji Salutes Ebonyi First Lady As She Host Her Southern Counterparts

The Commmissioner for information and state orientation/ Acting Commmissioner for Human capital Development and monitoring, Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji have felicitated with the wife of Ebonyi state Governor, Chief Mrs Rachel Ogonna Umahi as she host her colleague, the wife of southern governors in the state from Thursday, 23rd January to Saturday,25th 2020.
In his goodwill message made available to newshunt in Abakaliki, reads:
"I, Hon. Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, on behalf of my wife, management and staff of the Ministries of Information and State Orientation, and Human Capital Development and Monitoring, most profoundly salute the most compassionate State First Lady of our time and Vice Chairperson of the Southern Governors Wives’ Forum, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Rachel Ogbonna Umahi, (Ogoo Nwanyi, Achara Ugo I of GUMEBA),on the auspicious hosting of the wives of the Governors of the South East, South South and South West of Nigeria.

Your Excellency, words are not enough to convey our warm felicitations and our hearts of gratitude to you, and the entire first family of the Ebonyi State for being God’s instrument of emancipation of our people and transformation of the land of Ebonyi State. Today, the rejected stone has become the chief corner stone. Ebonyi State is now a signpost of excellence and flagship of transformational leadership, courtesy of a world class leader, His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE, Governor of Ebonyi State.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. "Our party hails the legislative house strongly for this feat and flexible decision. Expectedly, the legislators should follow action to see that this fund is fully released so as to guarantee free and fair election. While we commend the state Executive council for the willingness to spend this huge amount of money on the election we therefore call on EBSIEC to ensure that this fund is spent judiciously. Queen Chikadibia celebrates birthday with February babies in Hospitals

From Dave Uka It was a moment of joy and happiness as the most beautiful girl in Idemili, Queen Chikadibia Blessing Iiotonti, visited some hospitals in Oba to  celebrate her birthday with February new born babies.  The hospitals visited included Sahara Hospital Oba, Divine Favours Hospital Oba, Jesus Is Lord Oba and Oba Maternity. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her. Queen Chikadibia who was warmly received with excitement by the management of the hospitals and mothers of the new born babies said the visit was part of her pet project for the year.
