EBSIEC Fixes April For Ebonyi Council Polls

The Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission on Wednesday issued notice Of Local Government Elections In The State.

According to a release made available to NationsTrends, the State Electoral umpire fixed April 25th as date for Council Elections through the State.

The Statement disclosed that the process was pursuant to the provisions of the Constitutions of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) as well as the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission Law, 2001, (as amended).

Ebonyi State Governmet Sues For Peace In Ikwuato Idembia, Dissolves The Development Union Executive

Stanley Okoro Emegha have charged the people of Ikwuato Idembia, in Ezza South Local government to embrace peace and refrain from unnecessary squabble for village Leadership in the community. By Our Reporter Ebonyi State Government has announced bans on street/road trading along major roads from old Government House to Onuebonyi Junction, Afikpo road through Akanu Ibiam to Onuebonyi Junction and all the streets within the neigbourhood of old Abakpa Market, effective from Wednesday, 4th March, 2020.
