Breaking: Ebonyi state Government Terminates All Contract At Margaret Umahi International Market
Ebonyi state government has terminated all contracts at Margaret Umahi International market and announced the immediate take over of same by the state government.
The Secretary to the state government and coordinating Commmissioner, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala announced this to the public this Wednesday.

"All contractsat Margate Umahi International Market are by this notice terminated with immediate effect by Ebonyi State Government for slow pace of work which has frustrated the Government from delivering on the projects on schedule.
2. Consequently, His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, has directed that Government should take over the essential aspects of the market project and complete them within two weeks by direct labour, to enable the Abakpa Market to conveniently move to the new market as scheduled.
3. Please note that the movement date still remains 10th February, 2020", he said.
