Ebonyi state Government To Embark On Rural Entrepreneurship Training

EBONYI state Government has concluded plans to embark on intensive rural entrepreneurship training for the rural dwellers across the thirteen Local Government Areas of the state.

The Commmissioner for Business Development, Dr Stephen Odo, disclosed this in a live television program, monitored in Abakaliki, the state capital.

"We will start a grassroot business seminar and entrepreneurship training across all LGAs in the state this Thursday, 23rd January,2020. We are doing this in collaboration with the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ALGON, Ebonyi State. Our first port of call is at Ohaukwu LGA on Thursday.

Every Ebonyian residing in the rural area must be integrated in the good works of His Excellency in the Ministry of Business development.

In the course of this training, we will be training and the entire business community in the LGA and train them on lucrative businesses to ensure they are financially independent", Odo said.

Stanley Okoro Emegha have charged the people of Ikwuato Idembia, in Ezza South Local government to embrace peace and refrain from unnecessary squabble for village Leadership in the community. Ebonyi State Governmet Bans Street, Road Trading Within The City Center

By Our Reporter Ebonyi State Government has announced bans on street/road trading along major roads from old Government House to Onuebonyi Junction, Afikpo road through Akanu Ibiam to Onuebonyi Junction and all the streets within the neigbourhood of old Abakpa Market, effective from Wednesday, 4th March, 2020.
