Ebonyi Commmissioner Tasks CDC Abuja On Lasser Fever Control: Commends Umahi's Achievements In Health

The  Governor of Ebonyi state, Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi has been commended for his  efforts in repositioning the health sector.in the State  The Commissioner for Information and State Orientation and Ag Commissioner for Human Capital Development and Monitoring,Hon. Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji made this commendation when the team from the Centre for Disease Control, Abuja paid him a courtesy call in his Office. Barr. Orji  said the biggest and only  Virology Centre in  the South East and one of the best in Nigeria was built and furnished  by the Governor of Ebonyi State to tackle the menace of Lasser Fever and other  viral diseases.
Orji said that the State adopted a proactive and preventive measure  to  tackle the scourge of the disease  and urged the DG- Centre for Disease Control and indeed the Federal Government to provide financial intervention to the Communities and home that were affected by the scourge of Lasser Fever and charged them to see those affected and their Communities as Internally Displaced Persons.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. "Our party hails the legislative house strongly for this feat and flexible decision. Expectedly, the legislators should follow action to see that this fund is fully released so as to guarantee free and fair election.
