Solid Minerals Companies In Ebonyi Applauds New Government Policy, Assures Compli

Following the visit to solid Mineral companies in Ebonyi State by the State EXCO Committee on Solid Mineral IGR led by the Chairman who is also the Commissioner of the Ministry, Hon. Jonah Egba, officials of the companies visited have applauded the developmental efforts of the State government, the new policy on assessment and payment of internally generated revenue by the companies.

Managers of the various solid mineral development sites visited  in the state expressed their readiness to comply with the required information for their proper documentation, and in payment of the new IGR. They however stressed the need for government to give them adequate security and enabling environment to operate effectively.

Mr. Joel Oseghale of Tongyi group of Company, David Anaiyen of Ceaman Mining Company, Mario of Ashpat Unity Construction Company, Hikmat Wisdom of Conrock Nigeria LTD among others commended the Exco Committee under the Chairmanship of Comr. Jonah Egba for the visit, inspection and update on government new directives. They also pledged to support Governor David Nweze Umahi in areas of employment and all round development of Ebonyi State.

In his remarks, the Commissioner, Hon. Jonah Egba noted that their visit as directed by the governor was to find out their locations, inspect their equipment/production capacity and as well brief them on the new government policy on solid minerals and the payment of IGR to government at all levels. He assured the companies of Governor Umahi led government interest to partner with them for the good of both the state and the investors.

Some of the companies visited by the team in Ohaukwu, Izzi and Afikpo North include Tongyi Group of Company Ltd, Stone Pile Company, Master rock Ltd, Ceaman Mining and Construction Company, Jidech Mining Company Nig Ltd, and Ashpat Unity Construction Ltd.

Others are Tounji-Brass Company, Wanda Mountain Investment Ltd,  Conrock Nig Ltd, Crush Stone Industry, Setraco Nig Ltd, Water rock company and Ric rock company Ltd.
