Double Tragedy: Orji Commiserate With Staff Over Spouse, Father's Demise
The management of the Ministry of Information & State Orientation led by the Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Barr Orji Uchenna Orji paid a condolence visit to a staff of the ministry, and public Relation officer, Ministry of Human capital Development, Mrs Nneka Ibru on the demise of her dear husband, Dr Alphonsus I. Ibru, who was before his transition in charge of Ivo General Hospital.
The bereaved, Mrs Ibru had before the tragedy also lost her father.
In his words of Condolence, the Commissioner, MOI&SO said it was a heavy, and double tragedy, which only God Almighty himself could grant the family the needed fortitude to pull through.
He pledged the ministry's readiness to identify with the bereaved family as it plans to give the renowned Surgeon his last respect.
The permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Ken Uhuo, had on arrival of the delegation given an intro to accounts relating to the tragedy.
Also in the delegation on the condolence visit were the Director of Information, Prince Anya Okorie, Head of Admin, Mr Amechi Kalu, that of Accounts, Mr Boniface Nwali, Coordinating PRO, Eugene Ebenyi among others.
Prayers and Songs were offered in Solemnity.
