More Palliative As Governor Umahi Lunches Electric Tricycles Empowerment Program
The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr David Nweze Umahi has launched Electric Tricycle Empowerment Programme to enhance ease of transportation in the state especially in the face of this Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
The Governor represented by the Commissioner for Information and State Orientation and Ag Commissioner Human Capital Development and Monitoring said the launch of the tricycle Empowerment Programme was one of the ZERO- Oil Economy Initiatives of the State Government aimed at enhancing ease of transportation in Ebonyi State especially for the Civil servants and students of Ebonyi State vocational Institute. He further stated that the tricycle Empowerment Programme is for the women who will serve as service providers and shall be providing the transportation needs of people in the axis of old Government House, new Government House, Centenary City among others.
The function was attended by the SSA Human Capital Development and Monitoring, Mrs Ann Aligwe, the SA Vocational Education,Barr. Adaeze Nwaji, SA Human Capital Development and Monitoring among others, thanked the governor for his love for the people of the state especially the women.
