Ikwuato Idembia Leadership Impasse: Government Sets To Restore Peace

First step towards putting to rest, the lingering leadership impasse in Ikwuato Idembia community in Ezza South Local government area has been taken.

The Hon. Commmissioner, ministry of internal security, border peace and conflict resolution, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha this Friday, set up and inaugurated a seven man constitution drafting Committee, two nominees from each of the three kindred units and a nominee from the Commmissioner With Mr Emmanuel C Nweke as the Chairman while Barr. Ifeanyi Nworie will serve as the secretary.

He charged them to disabuse their minds of personal and parochial interest but rather work and dratf out a generally acceptable constitution that will engender Unity and progress in the community.

He gave the committee twenty one days to complete the job after which it will be red to Community after which it will ratified and adopted as a working document to guide the administrative process of the community.

Responding on behalf of the committee, the chairman, Mr Emmanuel Nweke thanked the commissioner for finding them Worthy of serving their Community in such capacity and promised that the committee will do a work that will satisfy the generality of Ikwuato Idembia people.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state.
