We will Not Tolerate Double Loyalty - PDP Zonal Vice Chairman warns

The National Vice Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), South East, Chief Deacon Austin Umahi has warmed against double loyalty from the members of the party. He gave the warning during a familiarization visit to the forum of Executive Assistants, Senior Technical Assistants and Technical Assistants to the Governor yesterday.

In his opening remarks, the South East PDP Boss, noted as been imperative the need to come and see with his eyes the largest number of Political appointees in the history of Ebonyi State and Nigeria and thank the hardworking Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi whom has shown much committement and passion towards human and infrastructural development, "Governor of Ebonyi State is a man  that has seen that you cannot jump out to leadership without going through tutelage and this he is doing holistically through massive Political appointment" he added.

Speaking to the appointees, Deacon Umahi congratulated the member of the forum and  reminded them that as a party, PDP will no longer tolerate double loyalty, your first loyalty is to God and secondly is to your Governor (the man who you are serving). If you are the type that will be PDP in day and another thing in the night, your appointment is a provisional appointment, we will not  tolerate double loyalty, never mistake the person that lobbied for your appointment as the person you should be loyal to, your loyalty is to the man you are serving, that is your Governor.

Meanwhile, as the National Vice Chairman of PDP South East, I must tell you in all sincerity that this kind of appointment of over 1,000 men and women as Executive Assistants, Senior Technical Assistants, Technical Assistants has never happened in the history of Ebonyi State before so I charge you all to be ambassadors of good Governance, defend and support all the policies and programs of your Governor in your respective areas because you are the Governor the masses are seeing in your locality.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her.
