The chief press secretary to the Governor of Ebonyi of Ebonyi state,Sir Emmanuel Uzor has reaffirmed the total support of Ezza people to the reelection bid of Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi come 2019.Chief Uzor made this known during the rally organized by the amalgamated National Ezza Ezekuna media practitioners at Ezza Ezekuna hall.
Mr.Uzor maintained that as far as Ezza clan is concerned, no Ezza youth both man and woman is contesting the gubernatorial seat against Gov. David Umahi and anyone who is pretending to be doing so, is absolutely deceiving him or herself. He maintained that Gov. David Umahi remains the sole candidate for Ezza clan come 2019 for the spirit of equity, fairness and justice.
Chief Uzor enumerated the laudable projects of Gov. Umahi in the Ezza land ranging from infrastructural developments,appointments and empowerment. He urged the youths to vote massively for Governor Umahi come 2019 for continuity and consolidation.
In his remark, the candidate for Ohaukwu north state house of Assembly, Hon. Awo Chinedu maintained that Ezza clan has no other candidate than Engr. Umahi and the entire Ezza land will vote for him massively come 2019. Mr. Awo stated that come 2019, all the Ezza land will return Gov. The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state.
