Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. "Our party hails the legislative house strongly for this feat and flexible decision. Expectedly, the legislators should follow action to see that this fund is fully released so as to guarantee free and fair election. While we commend the state Executive council for the willingness to spend this huge amount of money on the election we therefore call on EBSIEC to ensure that this fund is spent judiciously.
