NUJ Lauds Umahi As "Best Performing Governor In Nigeria"

Ebonyi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ has Lauded the Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David  Umahi on his award as Best Performing Governor in Nigeria by the Business Day Newspapers.

In a statement signed in Abakaliki by the chairman of the union, Comrade Tony Nwizi, Ebonyi state council of NUJ noted that the award was very apt and well deserved owing to the fact that Umahi's administration has brought uncommon transformation and leadership prowess since he assumed office.

The Union therefore commend Governor Umahi for his track records maintain that Ebonyi State Council of NUJ will continue to identify and contribute its quota on the realization of the Noble vision and agenda of the Umahi's administration.

The Council expressed satisfaction that the award from a reputable media outfit like Business Day Newspapers, was an indication that the governor has performed admirably.

NUJ also noted that the award is an eloquent testimony that Governor Umahi has prudently managed the meager state resources for the infrastructural, capital and human development of the state.

The Union thanked the Governor for the cordial relationship between the Union and his government in the state, promising that NUJ in the state will continue to support and publicise all his policies and programmes for the overall interest of the State.

While urging Umahi to consolidate on his achievements which have brought Ebonyi state to limelight and example to all, Ebonyi NUJ appealed for continued supports and cooperations of the people to ensure that the present administration achieve its set goals and objectives.

The council therefore urged all her members to support the present government by reporting and projecting the policies and programs of the state.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her. Queen Chikadibia who was warmly received with excitement by the management of the hospitals and mothers of the new born babies said the visit was part of her pet project for the year.
