Ebonyi School Agricultural Program Records A Huge Success

The assessment tour of the pilot schools of Ebonyi State school Agricultural program have been a huge success.

The Special assistant to the governor on school Agriculture Program, Hon. Aga Uchenna has so far visited over twenty pilot schools across the state to ascertain the progress, challenges and prospects of the program in the area.


In his recent visit to Government Technical College, Agba in Ishielu Local Government Area of the state. The School Principal, Rev Fr. Matthew Orie and all the members of Agriculture Committee in the school which includes, Nwokora Simon, Nkeiru Omena, Johnson Erishi and Okeh Anthony welcomed the SA to the governor and thereafter, conducted him round their school major farm project, which includes, Fishry, Poultry, Piggary and other crops such as cassava and Rice.
The SA expressed satisfaction in their performance on Piggary, Fishry, Rice and Cassava and encourage them improve on other areas of their projects that they have not fully hearnesed.


In Isu Model Secondary School, Onicha LGA of the state, the SA was received by the principal, Ajanwachukwu Pamela Ngozi and the 5-man Agric Committee members, which includes, Mrs Ajanwachukwu Pamela Ngozi, Mrs Patience Eze, Onukwube Friday, Abba Chinecherem and Ani Stephen.
Their Cassava and Rice Farms are doing well and the SA encourage them to sustain the tempo and even do more.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. "Our party hails the legislative house strongly for this feat and flexible decision. Expectedly, the legislators should follow action to see that this fund is fully released so as to guarantee free and fair election. Queen Chikadibia celebrates birthday with February babies in Hospitals

From Dave Uka It was a moment of joy and happiness as the most beautiful girl in Idemili, Queen Chikadibia Blessing Iiotonti, visited some hospitals in Oba to  celebrate her birthday with February new born babies.  The hospitals visited included Sahara Hospital Oba, Divine Favours Hospital Oba, Jesus Is Lord Oba and Oba Maternity. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her. Queen Chikadibia who was warmly received with excitement by the management of the hospitals and mothers of the new born babies said the visit was part of her pet project for the year.
