Ebonyi Government Moves To Return Out Of School Children Back To School

In line with the policy trust of Governor David Umahi on "bring back out of school Vulnerable children" in state, the Coordinator designate for Ikwo South East Development Center, Hon. John Ogodo have aggressively pursued the course with great vigor across the four and a half electoral wards that makes up the DC.


Hon. Ogodo, who painstakingly, toured all the public primary and secondary Schools in the area with his team, have so far identified and profiled over four hundred out of school Vulnerable children in the area.

Ebonyi State Governmet Sues For Peace In Ikwuato Idembia, Dissolves The Development Union Executive

Stanley Okoro Emegha have charged the people of Ikwuato Idembia, in Ezza South Local government to embrace peace and refrain from unnecessary squabble for village Leadership in the community. Emegha gave the charge during a peace meeting with the stakeholders of area, to douse the tension created by the quest for an election to elect new executive of the Development union and a pettition written to that effect. Ebonyi State Governmet Bans Street, Road Trading Within The City Center

By Our Reporter Ebonyi State Government has announced bans on street/road trading along major roads from old Government House to Onuebonyi Junction, Afikpo road through Akanu Ibiam to Onuebonyi Junction and all the streets within the neigbourhood of old Abakpa Market, effective from Wednesday, 4th March, 2020. In a statement made available to newsmen and personally endorsed by the secretary to Ebonyi State Governmet/Coordinating Commmissioner and who also the Chairman, Exco Committee on international market, Dr Kenneth Ugbala, reveals that Government directs that anyone found violating this directive should be arrested, investigated and prosecuted in line with the law.
