Umahi Ordered The Arrest Of The Abductors Of D.C. Coordinator.

The Ebonyi State Governor, Engnr David Nweze Umahi, has directed the security Agencies in the state  to immediately fish out those involved in the kidnap and torture of Hon. Marvin Anari, the coordinator of Ikwo south Development Centre.

Gov. Umahi gave the directive in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital when he paid unscheduled visit to Federal Teaching Hospital Abakaliki FETHA, where the victim is receiving  treatment. He condemned in strong terms, the dastardly act  perpetrated against the coordinator and warned that his government will not condole any unlawful act against any citizen of the state in the name of politics.

He urge the security agencies in the state to collaborate and fish out all those  that are involved in heinous act against the coordinator and serve them justice accordingly to serve as a deterrent to others.

Gov. umahi however, promised that the government will offset his medical bills and urged the hospital management to take adequate medical care of him.

Hon. Marvin Anari was said to have been abducted and tortured  severely by those believed to aggrieved youth in Amagu Ikwo when he was having a  stakeholders meeting in the area. It was gathered that some angry youths with dangerous  weapons stormed the venue of the meeting and whisked him away on a motor bike. he was said to have been tied on a motor bike and taken a casket shop where they bought one and put him inside, after he had received a serious torture in the hands of his abductors. He was however rescued by some influential member of the society in the area.

It was revealed that his attack was connected to the fact that youths of the area were no more comfortable seeing him as their coordinator, having served the Development Centre and was re-appointed without any tangible achievement recorded to his credit in his earlier service.  celplusmedia.blogspot.com
