Covid-19: Umahi Announced Two Additional Case In The State

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has announced the 4th and 5th case of Covid-19 patients in the state, bringing the number of active in the state to five.
According to the governor, the two patients that tested positive are 24 years old and 22 years old respectively .
The 24 year old patient is a female and a hair dresser from Ogwu Uburu in Umuobuna ward in Ohaozara LGA, She resides at no 30 Queen Close Okpara Avenue and returned with her family members on 27th to Ogwu Uburu. She was picked from Uburu to Stadium. She happens to be one of the contacts of the 3rd positive case Ebonyi recorded on the 1st of May. While the 5th Patient is a 22 year old man, who lives at No 197 Eshibiri , Ojo LGA Lagos. He Said to have left Lagos on the 26th of April 2020, and entered Ebonyi - Enugu Nkalagu Border and took a bus to Ezzambo Junction. There after ,he entered car from Ezzamgbo Junction to Effium where he entered okada to Ede Ishieke in Ebonyi LGA where he was caught by security officer who now brought him to stadium on Monday 27-4-2020. His sample was collected, tested and result came out positive. The two patients have been isolated and moved to our treatment center .
The Governor encouraged Ebonyians to be very vigilant as he thanked God for the strategy Ebonyi deployed. The Governor also thanked all those who have been committed in the fight against this virus. The Governor then announced that those being treated are responding to treatments .

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her.
