Again, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha Bags Award of Excellence, Dedicates It To Gov. Umahi

The National Association of Ebonyi State students (NAESS NATIONAL SSRC) has bestowed an Award of Excellence of “AN ICON OF EBONYI YOUTH EMPOWERMENT /NATION BUILDING’’ on the special assistant to Ebonyi state Governor on Capital city, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha, in recognition of his selfless and patriotic service towards Nation Building, societal transformation and unflinching effort in rebranding, beautifying and upgrading the status of Abakaliki Capital city into a modern enclave.

The student union delegation who was led by Comr Nwankwo Joseph, eulogizes the exemplary leadership quality of Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha, and stated that his dedication and commitment to selfless service to humanity and the growth of  our dear nation in line with the transformation agenda of Umahi’s administration  earned him the award, as the student Association decided to reward excellent and well-deserving individuals and corporate bodies who have shown veritable quest for service delivery and overall development of Nigeria.

The (NAESS NATIONAL SSRC) is an umbrella body of over five thousand Ebonyi state students studying in South-South region on Nigeria. The student body reiterated further, that the open door policy, fatherly love and benevolence disposition of Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha to the youths and students in particular should be emulated by other leaders. ‘’ I want to use this opportunity to call all in position of authority within the structure of our dear nation to emulate Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha’’ he said.

Responding, the award recipient, Hon. Stanley Ookoro Emegha, thanked the students for such great honor and dedicated it to Engr David Nweze Umahi, whom he described as a great and passionate leader who also surrounds himself with passionate people. He said that, he dedicated it to Gov. Umahi because, he gave him the platform with which he earned the award. He revealed that Gov. Umahi is a leader who is always ready to allow his appointees bring up their own ideas in pursuit of developing the state and equally implement them. ‘’ all the things I have initiated as ideas that will beautify the Abakaliki Capital city, the Governor approved all 100%’’ he said. Hon. Emegha stated that his main focus is to ensure that he leaves a positive footprint in the Abakaliki capital city, where every right thinking person will be proud of. He expressed delight on the speed pace in which the governor is developing the state, he confirmed that Governor Umahi has concluded plans to build an Airport in the state, to open up the state to international corridor. He equally enumerated some ongoing projects within the capital city such the Glass tunnel, the Christian Ecumenical center, the shopping and the Akanu Ibiam Park which he said, will be one of the best in the country when completed, among others.

He advised the students to be of good conduct and shun every act that can tarnish the good image of the state. He reminded them that the time for decision making which is the 2019 election, is almost at the corner and urge them to come down to the state irrespective of the where they reside and ensure they vote for Umahi and also defend their votes to enable the Governor consolidate on his developmental achievements. Hon. Emegha tasked them to always pray for Governor Umahi for God’s protection and endow him with more wisdom to enable him continue with his unfettered zeal of developing the state. He warned them to stay away from greedy politicians whom he said, has no positive plans for the youth in particular and the state in general. He assured them of his support in any of their programs and pray God to grant them journey mercy to their different institutions.
