Educate Your Members To Make Use Of Designate Parks/Bus Stops – Stanley Okoro Emegha Tasks Transport Union Leaders



The special assistant to Ebonyi state governor on capital city, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha have urged the commercial vehicle operators within the capital city to maintain only the designated motor parks and bus stops within the metropolis and refrain from the act of indiscriminate dropping and picking of passengers along major roads within the capital city.
He maintained that the act of picking and dropping of passengers at undesignated point by some commercial vehicles and tricycle operators within Abakaliki metropolis has been constituting perceptible menace and nuisance and such had placed overbearing consequencies on other road users and it is totally unacceptable. Hon Stanley Okoro Emegha, stressed that their action has also, been causing unimaginable traffic gridlocks and preventable lose of life and property of other road users, hence, the need to checkmate their activities became imperative.
He therefore, urged the leader of the transport unions operating within the state capital, to as a matter of urgency, educate and caution their members to adhere strictly to this warning, to avoid their vehicles or tricycles been impounded by the task force on capital city, as they will soon be directed to that effect, if the action persist.
