Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the Ebonyi State commissioner for internal security, border peace and conflict resolution, have emerged the state Chairman of the 15-member Caretaker Executive committee of the All progressive Congress APC.

The emergence of the new state Executives was due to dissolution of the former state caretaker executive by the national caretaker Executive of the APC. This was according to the statement signed by the Deputy National publicity secretary, Yekini Nabena.

He urged the supporters, members and leaders of the party in Ebonyi state and other chapters to support and work towards the achievement of the peace and reconciliation of the party.

Here is the statement in full;
 
''The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has dissolved the Party's Ebonyi State Working Committee following refusal of factions to withdraw court cases as directed by the 8th resumed meeting of the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) and submit to internal party resolution mechanisms initiated by the CECPC. 
 
"A 15-member caretaker committee has subsequently been appointed by the APC CECPC to manage the Party's affairs and carry out the planned membership registration, update, and revalidation exercise in Ebonyi State.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state.
