Ebonyi PDP National Assembly Members; The Dumbest - Nwebonyi

Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Ebonyi state Chairman of the people's Democratic party PDP, have lashed at the national Assembly Members of the party from the state, describing them as the dumbest. In a statement he personally endorsed and made available to celplusmedia, reads in full; "Members of the PDP caucus in the National Assembly from Ebonyi State who are afraid they could not secure a return ticket to the National Assembly have been making frantic efforts to disorganize the party in the state. This is to enable them remove all the elected executives who they fear might not vote for them in the party's primaries in 2022.  "It is evident that the national assembly members from Ebonyi State who of the PDP are the dumbest in the national assembly, especially those of them from Ebonyi North and Central. ...As APC Caretaker Committee Dissolves Ebonyi State Executives Committee By Celestine Okeh Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the Ebonyi State commissioner for internal security, border peace and conflict resolution, have emerged the state Chairman of the 15-member Caretaker Executive committee of the All progressive Congress APC. The emergence of the new state Executives was due to dissolution of the former state caretaker executive by the national caretaker Executive of the APC. This was according to the statement signed by the Deputy National publicity secretary, Yekini Nabena. More PDP Governors May Dump Party With Umahi To APC - Fani Kayode Warns

Femi Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation has warned the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over the planned defection of Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi to the All Progressives Congress, APC. There are reports that Umahi is planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the ruling party. Fani-Kayode, reacting, said he is yet to confirm the news but described Umahi’s rumoured defection to APC as troubling. According to him, other governors may join Umahi to defect to the APC which will affect the party’s chances of winning the 2023 presidential election. By our reporter  On Saturday, the 17th day of October, 2020 Ebonyi State and indeed, the entire media space was enveloped with rumour of the purported defection of Ebonyi State Governor, Engr David Umahi from the people’s Democratic Party PDP, to the national ruling All progressive Congress APC. The rumour which sooner than later, reverberated across the political landscape of Ebonyi State and even beyond, could not be remedied as the cosmetic reffutal of the alleged defection by Mr Francis Nwaze, special assisstant on media and publicity to the governor, could not remedy the already escalated rumor. The political terrain was further burdened by torrents of consultation. First, the thirteen (13) Local Government were summoned to append their approval for or against the planned defection, which they all, gave approval to, according to our findings.
