By Celestine Okeh

Ebonyi state Deputy Governor, Barr. Eric Kelechi Igwe has Celebrated the former Anambra state Governor and PDP vice presidential candidate in the 2019 general election, Mr Peter as he Celebrates his 59th birthday today.
Igwe described him as a man who believes firmly that leadership is service to the people as demonstrated by the way you handled resources entrusted to your care in most prudent manner when you presided over Anambra state as Governor.

This was contained in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen by the chief press secretary to the Deputy Governor, Dr Monday and personally endorsed by the deputy Governor. The statement reads in full;
"I have the pleasure to on behalf of my family,  congratulate  a foremost Nigerian Politician and an astute  Businessman, His Excellency Mr. Peter Gregory Obi ( Okwute Ndi Igbo), on the joyous occasion of his 59th  Birthday.

In the words of Rosalynn Carter " A Leader takes people where they want to go.  A great  Leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go but ought  to be" this is a  true reflection of  character and  personality of  Mr Peter Obi who used his Eight year reign as Governor to put smiles on the faces of the people of Anambra state through his numerous achievements.

You are a man who believes firmly that leadership is service to the people as demonstrated by the way you handled resources entrusted to your care in most prudent manner when you presided over Anambra state as Governor.

It is however heartwarming to  celebrate with pomp and pageantry the People's Democratic Party vice Presidential candidate, a loyal party man,  a business icon and a London trained Economist who has contributed his quota to socio-economic and political stablity of Nigeria as a nation.

Happy Birthday, as I wish you the best of life", the statement noted.
