Chinese Envoy Extoles Gov Umahi's Excellent Leadership

The  out-going Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjian has appreciated the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE, FNATE for the excellent  working relationship he savoured  during the period of his diplomatic service in Nigeria, and for the  modest efforts of the Governor in the development of Ebonyi state.

Dr Pingjian stated this in his letter of farewell to Governor Umahi dated 8th July, 2020.

He said; ‘’As the time of departure approaches, I feel so hard to bid farewell to you, and to leave Nigeria, the beautiful country where I have enjoyed my tour of duty since September 2016. 

‘’I wish to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation to Your Excellency for the hospitality, support and assistance I have received during my tenure’’

While acknowledging the farewell message, the Governor, through a letter dated 14th July, 2020,  noted that the out going Ambassador's  diplomatic tour to the country has mutually enhanced the bilateral relations of both countries

His words; "I must confirm to you that your diplomatic tour to Nigeria has enhanced our bilateral relations.
"I am personally touched by the exemplary passion and zeal with which you rendered your diplomatic service to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

"As I convey to you the warm appreciation of the government and  people of Ebonyi State, please be assured of my love to you and your family always as you bow out in grace".

Dr Zhou Pingjian, has been the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria since September, 2016.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part. Queen Chikadibia celebrates birthday with February babies in Hospitals

From Dave Uka It was a moment of joy and happiness as the most beautiful girl in Idemili, Queen Chikadibia Blessing Iiotonti, visited some hospitals in Oba to  celebrate her birthday with February new born babies.  The hospitals visited included Sahara Hospital Oba, Divine Favours Hospital Oba, Jesus Is Lord Oba and Oba Maternity. The new born babies who are the crown Queen's birthday mates received gifts items from her. Queen Chikadibia who was warmly received with excitement by the management of the hospitals and mothers of the new born babies said the visit was part of her pet project for the year.
