Ebonyi Sets To Achieve Crime Free State; As Commissioner Meets STAs, TAs On Security
The Hon. Commissioner for internal security and border peace, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha have charged the Senior Technical Assistants and Technical Assistants on security to Governor posted his ministry, to see their appointment as an act of God and a call to service.
He gave the charge during a maiden meeting with the appointees held at conference hall, ministry of internal security and border peace, government house Abakaliki, this Thursday.
He expressed confidence on the ability of caliber of men posted to his ministry in helping to ensure crime free Ebonyi State.
He tasked them on timely and factual report ouf any security information to appropriate quarters for immediate action. He emphasized that security information should not be based on hear- say, but must be factual to enable security agencies nip it in the bud.

He assured them of good working condition and synergy, but warned that laxity and integrity compromise will not be condoned.
He assured those he earlier selected but were not captured in the posting list of his ministry to go and do their documentation in their various ministries as everything is been done to ratify it.
Emegha reiterates the commitment of Governor David Umahi's government in tackling insecurities and ensuring crime free Ebonyi State, which his ministry is vigorously pursuing and will do everything within his constitutional boundary to achieve.
He warned against divisive tendencies and unnecessary bickering among themselves as no success is achieved in the atmosphere of rancor.
On their part, the special assistant to the governor on security and utility, Ebonyi Central, Hon. Onyekachi Nwoba, Ebonyi South and Capital City counterpart, Hon. Chika Nwangene and Hon. Nchekwube Anako thanked the Commissioner for the mature and professional touch he has given to security issues in the state, since the Security architecture of the state was handed over him barely three months ago and urged the STAs and TAs to bring their wealth of knowledge to bare in complementing the existing peace in the state.
Responding on behalf of the STAs and TAs, Barr. Pascal Nwenyi applauded the resilience and the professional way he has repositioned the security of the state and pledged the commitment and support of his colleagues especially, those in the border communities in making Ebonyi State, the most peaceful State in the country.
