Ebonyi No Longer Safe For Trouble Makers - Stanley Okoro Emegha Warns
Ebonyi State Commissioner for internal security and border peace, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha have warned criminal elements and trouble makers to stay off the State as such characters will no longer have any place to hide in the state.
The Commissioner handed down the warning during the final lap of mediation between Ojiegbe Community of Onicha LGA and their Aguotu brothers from Ishielu Local Government Area of the state.
He said that the new security arrangements in the state has zero tolerance for criminal activities of any sort, as the state Governor, Engr David Umahi is determined to bequeath a crime Ebonyi State to his successor for the good of the state.
Emegha charged the leaders, the youths and all the stakeholders of the affected Communities to synergized and form a common front in enthronement of peace in the area.
He thanked the leaders of the two communities for their resilience in their pursuant of lasting peace and warned that any person or group persons that may tend to jeopardize the already achieved peace in the area, will face the fire power of the state.
He urged them to continue to live peace as no meaningful progress can occur on the atmosphere of rancor.
The traditional ruler of Isu autonomous community, Eze Ambrose Ogbu, Ojiegbe town union president, Mr Sunday Agbeze and other stakeholders thanked the Commissioner for the way and manner he managed and resolved the issues and vowed to do everything within their powers to sustain the achieved peace in the area.
They thanked Governor David Umahi for making the right choice in appointment of Commissioner Stanley Okoro Emegha to the ministry of internal security and border peace. They prayed God to give him peace just as he works day and night to maintain peace in the state.
