Ebonyi Sets To Achieve Crime Free State; As Commissioner Meets STAs, TAs On Security

The Hon. Commissioner for internal security and border peace, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha have charged the Senior Technical Assistants and Technical Assistants on security to Governor posted his ministry, to see their appointment as an act of God and a call to service. He gave the charge during a maiden meeting with the appointees held at conference hall, ministry of internal security and border peace, government house Abakaliki, this Thursday. He expressed confidence on the ability of caliber of men posted to his ministry in helping to ensure crime free Ebonyi State. He tasked them on timely and factual report ouf any security information to appropriate quarters for immediate action. Ebonyi NUJ Commiserate With The Family Of Diseased Colleague

The Nigeria Union of Journalists,  NUJ,  Ebonyi State Council has commiserated with Members of the Information Chapel over the demise of their colleague,  Mrs Eucheria Obasi. In a release in Abakaliki,  Chairman of Council,  Comrade Tony Nwizi also condoled the family of the fallen colleague and prayed for the repose of her soul.  Comrade Nwizi who expressed concern that the death of Mrs Obasi who until her death had served the Council as member of Election Committee as well as member of the Council's Ethics,  Discipline and Screening Committee  was a  big loss to her family, Ebonyi State Government and the State Council of the NUJ. He encouraged all those affected by the unfortunate incident to take solace in the Lord who sees the end from the beginning.

Ebonyi No Longer Safe For Trouble Makers - Stanley Okoro Emegha Warns

Ebonyi State Commissioner for internal security and border peace, Hon. Stanley Okoro Emegha have warned criminal elements and trouble makers to stay off the State as such characters will no longer have any place to hide in the state. The Commissioner handed down the warning during the final lap of mediation between Ojiegbe Community of Onicha LGA and their Aguotu brothers from Ishielu Local Government Area of the state. He said that the new security arrangements in the state has zero tolerance for criminal activities of any sort, as the state Governor, Engr David Umahi is determined to bequeath a crime Ebonyi State to his successor for the good of the state. Ebonyi SA On Shool Agricultural Program Harps On Uptimum Productivity

In his continued efforts to further reposition and ensure the success of school Agricultural Program in Ebonyi State,  line with His Excellency, Chief Engr. David Nweze Umahi's determination in making Agriculture the main-stay of the state Economy,  the Special assighstant to the governor on School Agricultural program, Hon. Aga Kennedy Uchenna have continued to tour the pilot schools in the state to ascertain the success, the productive level and challenges of the program in their respective schools. On his visit to Uburu Secondary School, the principal, Mr Onu Sunday took the SA round the site of their Poultry/ Cassava farms which was demolished to give way for the construction of Uburu School of Nursing. He advised the principal to look for alternative land for immediate continuation of the program. On his visit to Government Secondary School Okposi, Hon. Aga was taken round the Cassava/ Poultry farm by  the principal, Okorie Chukwuemeka Ajah. He was dissatisfied wit
