GOOD NIGHT MUM
On Sunday, the 30th day of October, 2016. you was separated from us in this sinful world to reunite with the saints above. your separation from us was a harsh reality too hard to accept.
You was such as a great friend and a mother. you thought us that honesty is a great virtue we must imbibe. you bond us together in love and unity. you would Rather discomfort yourself for our own comfort, than see us in need. you're a courageous fighter of faith. You're a mother of inestimable value.
I could recall vividly that on Sunday, 6th December 1992, exactly 24years, 2months and 6days ago that the head of this family, Late Rev Simon N.Nwigbo was summoned by the supreme authority to joined with the saints, since then you took up the dual tasks and challenges of a father and mother, by the Grace of God, you lived up to those tasks and challenges satisfactorily to the glory of God and admiration of men. you till the grounds tirelessly to ensure you put food on our table. you're such a great and courageous woman, a kindhearted mother who always ensures she leaves a positive footprint in the life of everyone that comes in contact with you. you're indeed a genius. Mum, the vacuum you've created can never be filled by any mortal.Mum we love so dearly, we have started missing your absence, please Mum "return if possible" because we have not fully reciprocated even a beat of your kind gesture towards us. I would have asked "WHY NOW"? but who am I to question the supreme authority who knows and sees beyond mere mortal like me.
My solace lays in the fact you lived a righteous life, an assurance that we will see again on that Golden shore where death nor sicknesses will never have power over us.
Adieu mum! Adieu great woman of God!! sleep on mum!!! Till we meet again on that glorious morning where we will never be separated anymore.
Celestine Chidi Nwigbo.
