GOV UMAHI APPLAUDS SECURITY AGENCIES FOR PROMPT RESPONSE.

The executive governor of ebonyi state, Engnr Dave Umahi, has commended the security agencies in the state for their quick response to the communal clashes witnessed between MKPUMA-EKWOKU and OGWUZERU-ONWENYA  communities in Izzi local government area of the state.

The governor made the commendation when he paid an on spot assessment visit the warring communities. He maintained that the quick response of the security operatives have helped to avert what would have been a total break down of law and order in the state.
He therefore, charged the security agencies to ensure that peace returned to the communities.

Meanwhile, the had earlier announced the donation of 10 million naira to the communities to help cushion the effect of damages caused by. He therefore, charged the political appointees from the communities to forfeit 50% of as a sacrifice towards rebuilding the destroyed houses in the communities.

Ebonyi APP Commends The State House Of Assembly's Approval Of N180m For Council Polls

The Ebonyi state chapter of Action People's Party(APP) have commended the Ebonyi state House of Assembly for expressly approving the 180 million requested by the state governor as the amount needed by the Ebonyi state Independence Electoral commission (EBSIEC) for the conduct of the 2020 Council election in the state. In a press statement made available to Celplusmedia and endorsed by Mr Michael Chukwu, Media Aide to the state Party Chairman, reads in part.
